After graduating from Kutztown University in 2014 with a degree in English / Professional Writing, I went to Austria for a month to volunteer at an English camp for middle and high school-age kids. When I got home, it was time to find a job, but I didn't know where I'd end up. I started at WebstaurantStore as a writing intern that summer, and two months later I was hired full time.

One of my favorite things about working at WebstaurantStore is that I'm encouraged to think freely and creatively. I respect all of my coworkers for their hard-working, positive attitudes, and they make me feel valued, as well. I love using what I learned at Kutztown to make a tangible difference, and this collaborative, productive atmosphere is the perfect place to do just that.

After graduating from Kutztown University in 2011, I spent a few years working in education, but I never felt truly satisfied. I was looking for a career where I could spend my time helping people and that is how I found WebstaurantStore. I love working with people all across the country and pointing them in the right direction so that their business can succeed. Building that relationship with customers is truly a rewarding experience.

The community and support here at WebstaurantStore is like nothing I've previously experienced. We have a strong team atmosphere where everyone is very encouraging and supportive as you continue to grow with the company. I started with WebstaurantStore as a paid intern during the winter of 2014, and after a couple of months I was asked to stay on as a full-time writer. Now my daily tasks include writing marketing copy, proofing marketing materials, and working with other departments to create promotions, among a wide variety of other tasks. Every day offers a new challenge and the work is definitely not boring.

This job is just what I had been looking for since it gives me the opportunity to utilize my Professional Writing degree and practice different styles of writing across a wide range of projects. One of my favorite things about working here is the focus on doing the right thing, not just the easy thing. Plus, the extra benefits like free food, great coworkers, and a positive atmosphere don't hurt either!

I graduated from Kutztown University in the spring of 2013, and though I didn't have a job immediately lined up, I began working in a call center shortly after. However, I didn't find myself going in the path that I had envisioned. I then stumbled upon WebstaurantStore and boy was I lucky! As I began working in Customer Solutions, I was able to get into the groove with the job and the people around me. We have a very motivating culture with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, Everyone here pushes each other to be the best while wanting the best for our customers.

I truly enjoy how we strive for innovation on a daily basis. Since starting here, this company has made leaps and bounds in the restaurant equipment industry.
