I graduated from York College in 2010 and worked several years in my field of Recreation before starting to search for something different. I was looking for a job that had a consistent schedule since my husband and I were starting to expand our family, and I found that at WebstaurantStore!

I help customers all day via email and live chat. My coworkers and fellow team members help make the days fly by. It's amazing to watch the growth of the company and to know that I am contributing to the milestones we hit. The weekly catered lunches, product trainings, and on-site fitness center. are a few other perks that I enjoy!

While attending the Spartan Career Fair my last semester at York, I discovered The WebstaurantStore and the wonderful Software Engineering opportunities they had to offer. After reaching out to the table recruiters, I found myself at an interview in Lititz the next week. Of course I was nervous; this was one of the first few real-world job interviews I was attending. Yet as I sat down in an interview with senior-level developers, I felt much more confident. They were not looking for what I had learned, they were looking for my potential to grow as a new Software Engineer, starting fresh and pressing forward. Needless to say I got the job and started 2 weeks after I graduated in the spring of 2016.

After the first year, I can see and feel the radical growth in my development skills. While YCP gave me the tools and knowledge to code, WebstaurantStore taught me how best to use them. I approach ever more challenging projects, with smarter and faster ideas. Working here has strengthened my professional career and lifestyle. Along with great team cooperation, fun activities, and incredible food, life here at WebstaurantStore is an amazing employment opportunity.
