Receive notifications for important weather alerts with this Midland radio. This radio delivers visual and audible alerts for over 80 kinds of weather hazards and emergencies. It features 7 NOAA / NWS weather channels and 25 programmable locations. It also includes S.A.M.E. digital technology to receive alerts and warnings for your specific area. This radio allows you to select whether you want a voice alert, a tone alert, or a silent display alert. You can even customize alerts by selecting which are most important to you.

This radio includes 3 selectable warning systems, including an 85 decibel siren alarm, a flashing LED light, or a voice alert. The color-coded alert indicators make it easy to identify the intensity of the threat. This radio is also capable of storing up to 10 different previously received hazards and weather alerts. It includes an AM / FM radio with 4 preset radio buttons to receive entertainment and live information. For additional convenience, it displays the time and has a dual alarm clock.

This radio has a large, backlit LCD display to easily monitor the current settings and to display text alerts. It is easy to operate with simple button controls for functions such as power, volume, and to select presets. It has a USB output to charge external devices, and it comes with an AC power adapter to plug into a wall outlet. This radio also features a battery backup system that runs on (4) AA batteries (sold separately) to continue operating in the event of a power outage.
