It will hold cold food below 41 degrees Fahrenheit or hot food above 135 degrees Fahrenheit for up to four hours at a time! When frozen, the durable polyethylene ice board will extend the carrier's basic 4 hour cold temperature holding time while utilizing unoccupied space. Freeze it and slide it into the top-shelf position to allow the cold air to sink.
