This thermocouple thermometer features an impact-resistant, ABS plastic housing that's ideal for a commercial kitchen environment, and because it's waterproof, it's safe to use in high-humidity environments.

-40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit
With a measuring range of -40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and accuracy of + / - 1% over HACCP range, this multipurpose instrument will give you a precise reading on everything from frozen fish filets, to raw chicken cutlets, to a pot of vegetable soup. You can switch back and forth between Fahrenheit and Celsius for increased measurement versatility, and the front panel switches ensure quick and easy re-calibration when needed.
Probe Included
This instrument comes with a Type K, fast response probe with an overall length of 6". It's attached to a 32" cord, giving you plenty of length to reach pans of food items for temperature readings. When not in use, the wrap-around probe and cord design ensures compact storage in your chef's coat pocket or cabinet drawer.
Auto-Off Feature
When the instrument goes idle for more than 5 minutes, an automatic shut off feature conserves battery power.
Waterproof
Ideal for kitchen environments, this thermocouple is designed to be waterproof.
Battery Included
To facilitate immediate use upon delivery, the thermometer comes ready with the appropriate 9V battery.
